Week 6: End of the first sprint


Introduction

Welcome back to our barber shop💈🔪, dear customer. We are working on a better carrier pigeon🦤 system , let us tell you:

We are finishing the first sprint, some tasks got stacked but we find our way out of them.

Art

Doctor 

Our barber doctor Lorenzo finished the doctor texture:


Diseases 

Diseases are being cooked by Lorenzo too:


Pestle

Ruta kept working on the pestle. She remodeled the pestle for it to not look like a bucket. Moved to engine so we have a mixer to start using with an animator:

Shaders

We now have a life bar showing the health of the patient. all working and cute:


Programming

Mixing and Crushing

Mixing and Crushing are working well and they are completely implemented in the game. We only need to add assets to it. 


Start Screen

We have a functional start screen, is not the most beautiful one but we love it anyway. 


Design

All mighty excel

It was already done last week but not complete. So the designer finished an excel to make the programming task clear. So the programmer don't have to be deciphering the book at the same time that she creates the code. 


Conclusions

We lacked some communication during last week of work. But we took notes on how to improve it and we change the way and times we communicate to fix it. We expect to improve on that as the rest of the areas seems to be working well. 

Now we have the second sprint ahead of us. We will re evaluate the project and see which tasks of the backlog are into the second sprint and which ones are scrapped.
